Free Chlamydia Testing at Sac State
April 23, 2001
Did you know that one in five college students are infected with Chlamydia and are not aware of it?
Chlamydia (kla-MID-ee-uh) is the most prevalent Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) and is most common among 15 to 24-year-olds.
If it is not treated, Chlamydia can damage both the male and female reproductive capabilities.
The good news is that Chlamydia is easy to test for (it?s just a simple urine test) and is free at the CSUS student Health Center.
Help the Chlamydia Screening Education and Treatment (CSET) Project reach their goal of screening 2,000 students by May 11. For more information call 278-5422.
