Nojixa Anacleto is a Junior journalism major who transferred from Contra Costa College. This is her first semester at Sac State and the State Hornet as a multimedia staffer. She hopes to work behind the scenes or become a photo journalist and help with social media in news. In her free time she loves the outdoors, taking photos, spending time with her family, friends and pets.

Sac State launches Hispanic Heritage Month with “La Bienvenida” event

La Bienvenida brings together Hispanic and other students to Sacramento State with information about available resources, great food and a welcoming environment.
La Bienvenida is an annual event that is hosted by El Centro Serna at Sacramento State to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and welcome students back to campus. The event features informational booths, engaging activities, food and a variety of performances, including traditional Hispanic dances and live music.
