Nathalie Thomas is a senior majoring in journalism and was previously a PRMA staff member for The State Hornet. This semester, Thomas takes on The Hornet’s new magazine section, where she has already written several articles for The Hivemind’s magazine first edition. She is passionate about her writing and enjoys reading and listening to audiobooks in her free time. Her goal for this semester is to further explore creative journalism and develop her voice through her work.

The State Hornet visited Ballet Folklorico Nube De Oro, a studio based in Sacramento taught by artistic director Osvaldo Ramírez Vidales, a current professor at Sacramento State. Ballet Folkorico is also home to many Sac State students and alumni.
