Vivian Gonzalez is a fourth-year journalism major and the digital/newsletter editor at The State Hornet. This is her second semester on staff and her first in an editorial role, after previously working as a multimedia staffer, creating video and online stories. She hopes to become a travel journalist, telling stories from different places and perspectives around the world. When she is not in the newsroom, she likes to bake, watch new movies and try new spots to eat.

Editors from The State Hornet traveled to San Francisco for the Associated Collegiate Press conference, where they attended workshops, panels and networking events. They brought home several awards, including the Online Pacemaker award. The awards highlight the dedication and teamwork of The State Hornet staff.
