Crime Report – Sept. 9 to Sept. 17

Here are the happenings around campus from Sept. 9 to Sept. 17.

  • Two bikes were reported stolen between 4:19 – 4:46 p.m. on Sept. 9 at Desmond Hall and Draper Hall. The reports were taken but no bikes were found.
  • A male was reported acting suspiciously at the Academic Resources and Technology Center on Sept. 10 at 4:08 p.m. Officers were notified and arrested the man for allegedly being under the influence of narcotics.
  • A traffic collision involving two vehicles occurred in Lot 6 on Sept. 10 at 9:14 p.m. Neither driver was injured.
  • On Sept. 11 at 9:43 p.m., a laptop was reported stolen in Amador Hall. The alleged culprit was found and arrested on suspicion of theft on Sept. 12. He was booked in the Sacramento County main jail.
  • A catalytic converter was stolen off of a Toyota 4Runner on Sept. 15 at 12:53 a.m. in the Residence Hall parking lot. The converter has yet to be found.
  • Officers assisted in finding a juvenile who ran away from the group he was accompanying on Sept. 15 at 2:04 p.m. He was found in Lot 7 and escorted back to his group.
  • A snake was reported inside Jenkins Hall on Sept. 15 at 1:08 p.m. An officer assisted the victim and relocated the snake outside.
