FASHION: Tips on shopping
May 5, 2009
I love to shop and I love clothes, but I never go to the mall. I hate it, the parking, the people, and the same monotonous clothes that never change every time I go.
I prefer to shop at vintage, thrift and consignment stores. Yes these types of stores use to scare me too; the thought of wearing used clothing was unheard of.
I have bought the cutest outfits from these types of stores and saved money doing it. I now shop more and still have money in my bank account. Some places I recommend shopping at are, Crossroads Trading Company on Arden Way, Cuffs of J Street, Bows and Arrows on L Street, and This and That Thrift and Gift on Folsom Blvd.
For great deals on name brand items without the name brand price try Crossroads. They sell brands like True Religion, Juicy Couture, Seven, Abercrombie, Coach, and a lot more.
Cuff and Bows and Arrows are great places to find one of a- kind items that are vintage and unique.
Finally, This and That is a great place to look if you need household stuff, they are very practical and extremely reasonable. If you are still unsure I challenge you to try thrift store shopping. I guarantee you will thank me later for it!
