Looking for something to do on a Friday night? End the week by checking out the Friday Night Concerts in the Park. At the start of every summer there are free concerts on Friday nights in Cesar Chavez Park. The concerts attract more than 60,000 fans over the summer season. More than 50 local bands play at the park and are an assorted combination of the popular sound in the Sacramento music scene.

Enjoy the nice weather while listening to great music. Get a Budweiser wristband at the concert and present it to various bars nearby to get discounts on drinks the same night. May 25 is especially dedicated to Sacramento State Graduates. Grads are encouraged to wear their cap and gown to the themed event. There will also be prizes and gifts.

The concerts will play every Friday night until mid-August. Music plays from 5 to 9 p.m. Cesar Chavez Park and Plaza located at 10th and J streets in Downtown Sacramento.
