It will be a big night at Cafe Milazzo
February 12, 2002
Gentlemen, this is definitely the place to make reservations if you are planning something special for your Valentine.
In following with their three-year tradition, Cafe Milazzo is hosting a romantic Valentine?s Day evening. Special for the ladies, Cafe Milazzo is providing complimentary chocolates and flowers, just in case you guys forget.
Chef Jaime Cardenas will be preparing a wide variety of deliciously romantic meals from filet mignon with Alaskan king crab, to vegetarian lasagna baked in a cream sauce. The highlight of the menu however, will be Cafe Milazzo?s homemade Timpano.
Timpano, an Italian dish of penne pasta, sausages and meatballs, Italian cheeses, assorted veggies, and marinara sauce baked in a savory crust, is probably most notorious for its role in the classic ?food movie? Big Night. A big hit with food lovers, Big Night romances the dining experience with a passionate portrayal of a devout chef and his philosophy on food. At Cafe Milazzo, this type of passion for food is evident to the palette and their execution of Timpano is as successful as seen in Big Night.
A romantic evening here would not be complete without great music. Local musicians, Steve Krohn and Jimmy Malone will be performing live to help set the mood. If you?re nice, they may take requests.
Champagne will be available in addition to their in-depth wine list. Valentine?s Day night at Cafe Milazzo is reservation only so make the call now. They are located at 48th St. and Folsom Blvd.; call them at (916) 454-3400. Ample parking is available.
