Jane Goodale has it all: a great job as a producer for a popular daytimetalk show, an exciting romantic relationship, and a sensationalnewspaper column. But having it all does have its disadvantages.
Jane Goodale is played by Ashley Judd (“Where the Heart Is,” “DoubleJeopardy”) in the upcoming movie, “Animal Husbandry,” released byTwentieth Century Fox.
Jane is having a romantic relationship with her talk show executiveproducer, Ray, played by Greg Kinnear (“As Good as it Gets,” “You’ve GotMail”). Jane’s relationship with Ray turns sour and leaves her to finda way to fix their love problems.
Jane then begins a study of the male animal to help their relationship. She includes her womanizing roommate, Eddie, played by Hugh Jackman(“X-Men”) and other romantic misadventures to further her studies. Withthese studies, Jane becomes a pseudonymous sex columnist and becomes asensation by doing it.
“Animal Husbandry” was based on the Novel by Laura Zigman and directedby Tony Goldwyn. Goldwyn is best known as the bad guy in the Demi Mooremovie, “Ghost.” His first movie behind the camera was “A Walk On theMoon.” Cast members from “Animal Husbandry” include Marisa Tomei (“MyCousin Vinnie”) and Ellen Barkin.
“Animal Husbandry” will premiere in theaters March 30.
