Faculty recital expected to dazzle audiences this Monday

The Sacramento State School of the Arts, in conjunction with the Department of Music, will host a faculty recital, at 8 p.m., Feb. 26, in the Music Recital Hall at Sacramento State.
The musical event will feature performances by music faculty members, Deborah Pittman, Laurel Zucker and Daniel Kennedy.
Pittman, an assistant professor of clarinet, has performed as a soloist for the Camellia Symphony Orchestra, and has received her DMA from the Manhattan School of Music. Kennedy, a lecturer in percussion, is also the director for the Festival of New American Music and is a specialist in twentieth century music. Zucker, an award-winning flutist, is an international artist with 17 critically acclaimed albums on her own record label.
Also performing are the Richard Bay Puppets, The Sun Quartet, and the Sacramento Black Art of Dance.
Admission is $4 for students/seniors and $6 for the general public. Tickets can be purchased at the CSUS Central Ticket Office or at the door, one hour prior to the performance. For more information regarding the recital or other performances, call (916) 278-4688.
