The second annual Down in the Valley 2009: Festival of Tuba and Euphonium took place at Sacramento State on Saturday in Capistrano Hall.

Tuba players from around the region came together at 8:30 a.m. for master classes, workshops and a reading session. The event ended with a 3 p.m. concert and was organized by Sacramento State music professor Julian Dixon.
