Tower Records’ magazine full of information
April 23, 2001
Tower Records is no stranger to the world of music, they?ve come into play every where from producing music to selling it. Now they write reviews about it.
Most everyone who has walked by the front entrance of Tower Records store has noticed a little podium of free goodies. Maybe a few customers have picked up some of the items. But has anyone ever noticed their music magazine Pulse!?
Pulse! Couldn?t be any more different from the music magazines currently thrown around for people to see. This one actually attempts to attract a hugely diverse genre of music listeners. It covers everything from punk rock to hip-hop to mom-and-pop?s classic rock. Plus, it gives the reader the inside information on when they?ll be able to buy that brand new CD that they?ve been dying to hear ever since they read the review in Pulse! a month before.
It has a convenient little “Artist Index” in the front to help readers locate their favorite artists on one page instead of through the whole magazine. And aside from just having reviews on your favorite artists, they have the inside scoop on what those artists have been up to lately as well as what their plans are for the future.
They?ve also got new audio releases, new video releases, a comic strip and so much more it can?t be allowable to put it all into a free magazine. But if you need to get a copy right away, just head over to your local Tower Records.
