Na’Jay Lewis is a fourth-year journalism major in his first semester part of The State Hornet. He is also minoring in ethnic studies. He is currently a senior and also has an associate’s degree in journalism from Sacramento City College. While he was at Sacramento City College, he was a student writer for the Sac City Express newspaper, writing feature stories on student athletes as well as articles about the Sac City Panthers football team and baseball team. He is very passionate about sports and loves to watch sports, especially football and basketball. His favorite teams are the 49ers, Warriors and Giants. He loves to play basketball, play video games and watch YouTube videos during his free time. His career aspiration is to become a sportswriter for Sports Illustrated or a sports commentator for ESPN, covering NBA and NFL games. He is currently working as a journalism intern at Dakdan Worldwide and is hoping to grow as a journalist during his time at The State Hornet.
