Elk Grove’s Sarap Society puts Filipino flavors on the map

Sarap Society, a startup business based in Elk Grove, brought Filipino flavors to Sacramento’s coffee culture in a popup held last Saturday. The business’ owners discuss future plans and endeavors for the startup, as well as the cultural value it adds to the city.

‘Fear Nothing’ closes Mike Bibby’s first season at Sac State

The first of the six-episode series “Fear Nothing: Sac State” premiered in the Hinde Auditorium last Wednesday, April 29, revealing an insider view behind the lives of the men’s basketball team. Sophomore guard Mikey Williams is spotlighted in the docuseries, which is expected to release publicly on The Roku Channel on May 1.
