Aaron Lofton, Podcast Staffer

(he/him) Aaron Lofton is a journalism major at Sacramento State who is in his final year. This is his third semester at The State Hornet and as a podcast staffer. When he is not in the newsroom, you can find him at The WELL or in the Flatz. Lofton is pursuing to be a sports talk host or co-host in multiple types of media, whether its on the radio or on TV; not only does he hoop but he does a little music on the side.

Clifton Bullock III, Podcast Staffer

(he/him) Clifton Bullock III is a senior journalism major, at his third and final college. He completed his first year at Sacramento State and is on his second semester at The State Hornet. He was born in Washington, D.C. but moved a lot. He loves sports and represents many teams; baseball is his favorite. He has some experience editing and interviewing people. A dream he wants to achieve later in his career is covering his favorite sports team or working at a big sports industry like ESPN or WWE. His favorite food is ramen and he can eat it all day.

Brianna Lira, Magazine Staffer

(she/her) Brianna Lira is a junior majoring in journalism and history. She is entering her first semester at The State Hornet as a magazine staffer, with hopes of developing her skills in design and the reporting process. In her free time, she can be found obssessing over music, making vision boards and hanging out with friends.

Jose Leon, Visuals Staffer

(he/him) Jose Leon is in his first semester at The State Hornet after his two year stint at American River College’s newspaper. Now in this new stage, he wants to expand his abilities by further improving multimedia skills. With interests in many fields, he hopes to leave his touch on every section.
