The Sacramento Police Department responded to a shooting at the University and 65th Street light rail station around 3 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2024. The suspects in the shooting allegedly carjacked someone at gunpoint nearby on Folsom Blvd, the car was found abandoned on campus in parking lot 2.

PRIDE Center hosted its annual Queer Welcome to celebrate LGBTQ+ students, faculty and allies on Tuesday. It is the PRIDE Center’s second year hosting the event virtually.
The Services for Students with Disabilities (SSWD) office is located in Lassen Hall with students entering and exiting. SSWD has set up a computer lab where staff are helping disabled students familiarize with the new Clockwork program for the SSWD Portal — no longer needing their all-paper format.
