Shelby Tolly joined The State Hornet in spring 2021 as an opinion beat writer. She is now a staff writer for the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion beat. She was previously a staff writer for Sacramento City College’s Express news site. Shelby is a junior majoring in journalism and minoring in LGBTQ+ studies. She is an avid gamer, is new to streaming and a die-hard horror movie fan!

PRIDE Center hosted its annual Queer Welcome to celebrate LGBTQ+ students, faculty and allies on Tuesday. It is the PRIDE Center’s second year hosting the event virtually.
The Services for Students with Disabilities (SSWD) office is located in Lassen Hall with students entering and exiting. SSWD has set up a computer lab where staff are helping disabled students familiarize with the new Clockwork program for the SSWD Portal — no longer needing their all-paper format.
