(she/her) Claire Harrell is a third-year student majoring in journalism. She is going into her second semester at The State Hornet as a multimedia staffer. She hopes to gain skills in broadcast and multimedia to help her in her dream of working in broadcast journalism. In her free time, Claire enjoys reading, going on hikes, and spending time with her family and friends.

(she/her) Arielle Ly is a third-year communications major and a transfer student at Sacramento State. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and moved to Sacramento after high school. This is in her first semester as a multimedia staffer working for The State Hornet after she transferred from American River College. Most of her experience is in broadcast production, graphic design, and creative production. She is excited to strengthen her skills in multimedia, public relations and broadcast journalism, while contributing to teams that value growth and connection. As of now, she plans to expand more knowledge into the evolution of technology while chasing creative projects. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, health and wellness and occasionally you can find her at a coffee shop or a brewery somewhere in midtown. Neverthless, she also looks forward to making meaningful connections and hopes to improve everyday on learning something new!
