In this festive episode of Theatre Rats REDUX, Kristopher Caalim invites Delaney Lopes, Analah Wallace and Esmeralda Garcia to talk about the 2011 Disney Channel original movie, “Good Luck Charlie: It’s Christmas!”

Based on the Disney Channel sitcom of the same name, the four revisit this film to find out what about its quirky nature makes it a beloved holiday movie for each guest.

(he/him) Kristopher Caalim returns to The State Hornet for his third semester. This is his final year as a student majoring in journalism with a minor in film studies. He aims to work in fields related to arts and entertainment as he enjoys exploring pop culture and its history. In addition to his work at The State Hornet, he has a passion for writing in general and is a huge fan of nearly anything.

Delaney Lopes, Social Media Staffer

(she/her) Delaney Lopes is a senior criminal justice major minoring in journalism in her second semester at The State Hornet. She is currently studying for the LSAT and plans to attend law school next fall. In her free time, she likes watching reality TV and going to barre class.

Analah Wallace, Managing and DEI Editor

(they/them) Analah Wallace is a senior journalism student continuing their second year on The State Hornet. Having well-rounded experience in news, DEI and music reporting, Analah now helps manage Sac State’s student-run newspaper. In their free time, Analah enjoys going to concerts, getting coffee, reading comics, freelance reporting or listening to music. They hope to become a music journalist in the future.

Esmeralda Garcia, Podcast Staffer

(she/her) Esmeralda Garcia is a junior transfer and journalism major at Sacramento State. This is her first semester at The State Hornet, and she has journalistic interests in environmentalism, social justice, culture and the arts. She hopes to get a master’s degree in either English or Journalism in the future. Outside of journalism, she enjoys creative writing, reading, drawing and the outdoors.
