Construction for additional outdoor seating begins

Construction for additional outdoor seating at the entrance of the University Union adjacent to Parking Structure II began Thursday, Jan. 19.

According to Don Tucker, associate director of operations at the University Union, this will add about 150 outdoor seats, and will be done in two phases.

The first phase will be the construction along the east walkway and the second will be an extension of the current outdoor seating.
