Female student sexually assaulted on campus

A Sacramento State student was sexually assaulted on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2015 in the River Front Center quad, according to the Sac State Police Department.

The assault occurred at 6:45 p.m., according to the Timely Warning sent out by Sac Send email from the police department, while the victim was walking on the dirt path near Lassen Hall.

The suspect is described as a “black male adult, 20 to 30 years old, approximately 6’1” in height and 200 pounds with a husky build. He wore a black hooded sweatshirt, dark colored pants and had a dark cloth covering the lower portion of his face,” according to the Sac State Police Department email.

The victim reported the suspect approached her and asked for her wallet before forcing her to the ground and sexually assaulting her.
