“We keep improving every match,” said Hornet head coach Ruben Volta. “I’ve been really happy how we’ve been playing; serving, passing and playing defense. It puts a lot of pressure on our opponents.”

Junior Cayti Crowton had five kills, junior Kelsey Elston had four kills, junior Anna Schoener contributed with three kills, 10 assists, two blocks and a .500 hitting percentage and freshman Katie Aprile had 22 assists and six digs.

“We did a really good job playing our game8212;solid and consistent straight through,” Currey said. “We put the pressure on them and they didn’t like it.”
