The Sacramento State Hornets women’s basketball team defeated the Northern Colorado Bears 74-60 and secured its chances to advance top the Big Sky Tournament. This is the third time in school history that the women’s basketball team qualified for the Big Sky Tournament. This is also senior Atty Boyer’s last season on the team. The Hornets hope to win the Big Sky Tournament; the Hornets will play Idaho State for the first round of the tournament at 6:30 p.m. March 12 in Missoula Mont.
