Men’s tennis still undefeated in conference play after 5-2 win against Montana State

The Sacramento State men’s tennis team continued its perfect play in the Big Sky Conference with a 5-2 victory against Montana State Saturday.

Freshmen Kiryl Harbatsiuk and Artur Klimenka, sophomore Anton Stryhas and junior Sven-David Rueff posted singles victories.

Stryhas is now 16-1 on the season. Stryhas and Harbatsiuk had a rare loss in doubles play in the No. 1 match against Jakub Dybala and Kyle McDonald 8-4.

Klimenka and Rueff won the No. 2 doubles match and sophomore Holden Ching and freshman Ronan Conlon won the No. 3 doubles match.

The win was the Hornets’ 12th straight road match and they will return home to play Eastern Washington at 1 p.m. on Friday at Rio Del Oro Racquet Club in Sacramento.
