The Sacramento State men’s tennis team fell to Utah 4-2 on Sunday. The wind prevented the teams from having doubles play.

Freshman Kiryl Harbatsiuk and sophomore Anton Stryhas were the only Hornets with victories.

Harbatsiuk beat Miron Mann, 6-0, 6-2, while Stryhas beat Othman Zerouali-Oua 6-2, 6-2.

Sophomore Holden Ching held on for three sets against Jason Smits and junior Sven-David Rueff battled to a 6-7 loss in his first set.

The Hornets concluded their fourth match in five days. They are in the midst of 12 straight away matches and face San Francisco at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 7, in San Francisco.
