A student had to be removed from the campus radio station by University Police on Tuesday afternoon.

Radio station workers at KSSU said they saw the individual walk into the station’s office, located on the University Union’s first floor, at 4 p.m. and recognized the student as a former employee. Station workers believed the individual may have been intoxicated and when asked to leave, he refused to.

Campus police were called, and upon arrival the officers apprehended the student and took him outside for questioning. The officers searched the student’s belongings, but no arrests were made.

Two of the station’s employees and the assistant manager were on the scene, but refused to comment or be identified.

The station’s manager was contacted by Hornet staff concerning the incident, but also refused comment.

Police would not identify the apprehended man.
