At the Associated Students Inc. board meeting on Wednesday, all four motions put on the table passed with “aye” votes from all board members.

At the meeting, legislation was passed to hold a congratulations ceremony honoring the hard work of the 2005 homecoming committee.

“It’s to commend them and cut the red tape at the same time,” said Curtis Grima, secretary of state and homecoming king.

Grima said he believes the recognition will help the homecoming committee gain campuswide appreciation and will encourage discussion between the committee and the university.

The certificates will be awarded to the Homing Committee at ASI’s next meeting.
