Amaya Baker is a third-year journalism major transfer student at Sacramento State. She is in her second semester at the university after transferring from Sacramento City College. This is their first semester at The State Hornet as a social media staffer. She is excited to continue developing her reporting and writing skills at Sac State, even when their free-spirited heart is running rampant by a beautiful ocean. Baker is pursuing to be a news reporter or broadcast journalist to expand their knowledge in multiple types of media. She hopes to interview all kinds of celebrities for magazines such as Vanity Fair, Vogue, Rolling Stone and Interview Magazine. Baker enjoys photography, music and artsy projects on their own time away from being a full-time student and busy woman!
