The three-peat has come to fruition.

The Sacramento State men’s tennis team defeated Northern Arizona 4-1 on Sunday for the second straight year to win its third consecutive Big Sky Conference Championship.

The Hornets finished the season undefeated against Big Sky competition. That includes an 8-0 regular season, and 2-0 in the conference tournament.

Sac State has won 10 regular season championships and nine conference tournaments since joining the Big Sky in 1996-97.

Next up is a return to the NCAA tournament, which takes place May 13-14.
