Women’s tennis defeats UC Davis and UC Santa Barbara, improves to 3-0

State Hornet

The Sacramento State women’s tennis team won both of its matches today, triumphing 6-1 over UC Santa Barbara and 5-2 over UC Davis.

In the early match, the Hornets lost all of the doubles matches to UC Santa Barbara but rebounded in the singles matches. Sac State took every singles match to seal a victory over the Gauchos.

The Hornets were victorious in both the doubles and singles matches against UC Davis to pick up the win at the 5 p.m. match against the Aggies.

Sac State improves to 3-0 this season with the pair of victories today. The Hornets will travel to face Loyola Marymount on Friday at 1:30 p.m.
