DISTURBING THE PEACE
10:06 a.m. Sutter Hall ? A man and woman were digging through dumpsters and were arguing with each other. The man swung a plastic bag at the woman, but she moved out of the way. Both subjects were in their late 30s to 40s. The man was wearing a white and blue baseball cap, and the woman was wearing a white Oakland A?s T-shirt. The subjects were contacted and sent on their way.
Saturday, August 25
ASSISTANCE
2:11 a.m. College Town Drive ? Officers assisted the Sacramento Police Department with an assault and battery incident at 7-Eleven. Two subjects were transported to the county jail to be booked.
AUTO BURGLARY
10:52 a.m. Sutter Hall ? A vehicle was broken into and no suspect was seen.
AUTO BURGLARY
4:02 p.m. Desmond Hall ? A white 1994 Chevy suburban was broken into.
Friday, August 24
LOST/STOLEN PLATE
10:46 a.m. Lot 2 ? The reporting party parked in the lot by the theater, returned and noticed that someone had changed the rear license plate. The plate was recovered.
HIT AND RUN
4:57 p.m. ? A black 2001 Ford Mustang was hit.
PETTY THEFT
8:14 p.m. ? A large, black wallet was stolen.
Thursday, August 23
SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT
6:33 a.m. Lot 4 ? The reporting party observed a female leaning against the steering wheel in a dark green vehicle and worried that she might be sick. The subject was contacted and was OK.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT
10:45 a.m. Esplanade ? Two parties were involved in a minor accident and exchanged information.
SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT
1:36 p.m. Lot 4 ? An adult male was standing near a brand-new blue sedan and was possibly casing the vehicle. He was wearing a printed shirt and tan, baggy pants but was gone when officers arrived.
PETTY THEFT
4:33 p.m. River Front Center ? A tan purse was stolen from a chair when the reporting party left it unattended.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES
11 p.m. Mariposa Hall ? A custodian reported that a red laser beam was pointed in her direction from the top of the building. The area was checked, but nothing was found

AUTO BURGLARY
12:20 p.m. Lot 4 ? A vehicle was broken into and stereo equipment was stolen from it between 10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m.
Tuesday, August 21
SUSPICIOUS SUBJECTS
10:53 a.m. River Front Center ? Two white males were soliciting credit cards. The subjects were contacted and advised that they must get permission from ASI to be on campus.
AUTO BURGLARY
3:19 p.m. Lot 8 ? A vehicle was broken into and speakers were taken.
INCIDENT
4:37 p.m. State University Drive ? The reporting party said an injured squirrel was in the roadway and was causing traffic to stop. Officers were unable to locate the squirrel.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT
10:19 a.m. Lot 2 ? A white, two-door 1996 Acura Integra was stolen.
