Popular preacher speaks at Sacramento State

Rev. Alfred Smith, leader of the Bay Area?s largest African American church, will speak at Sacramento State at noon, Feb. 16, in the University Union Ballroom.
Smith?s lecture, “What Does the Radical Transformation of Values Mean According to the Ideals of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.?” is part of the University?s Year of Unity, a campus-wide commitment to promote peace, tolerance, learning and understanding.
A panel of Sac State students will respond to Smith?s remarks in a roundtable discussion following his speech.
