The Sacramento State men’s and women’s tennis team’s season is over after the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

The women’s squad lost it’s opening round game to No. 14 Arkansas 5-1 on Saturday Afternoon in Fayetteville, Ark.

It was the Hornets’ 10th straight NCAA Tournament appearance after finishing the season with a 19-9 record.

The men fell to No.2 ranked USC 4-0 in straight sets on Friday afternoon.

Sac State finished the season with a record of 14-14 after making its eighth NCAA Tournament appearance in 13 seasons.
